A Mariner's Museum Maternity Session | Newport News Family Photographer
Have you noticed that during fall there are those two weeks in November when the leaves are in their glory, transitioning from green to yellow, orange, and red? I don't know about you but for me, they're two of my favorite weeks out of the entire year! What's even better is when I have the opportunity to do a session during those weeks, which is exactly what happened last Saturday with Ashley, Eric, and Baby Logan!
Early Saturday morning Eric, Ashley, and I met for maternity photos. For their session, Ashley knew they wanted to take advantage of the changing leaves and they wanted to make sure they did their session before Baby Logan makes his debut in early December! We decided on the Mariner's Museum and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!
In addition to portraits, Ashley and Eric also wanted to capture photos of some special mementos that were given to them by friends and family for Logan. Ashley has always loved the book "Guess How Much I Love You" by Sam McBratney, and even has the 10th Anniversary Edition, which was a gift from Eric when they first began dating. The copy of the book that they brought with them was a gift from a dear friend and coworker of Ashley's. Logan's shoes were a gift from Logan's aunt Virginia and are Eric's favorite color: charcoal gray! And finally, the soft and cuddly blue whale was a must-have for Logan's nautical-themed nursery!
It was such a joy working with you Ashley and Eric! Enjoy some of my favorites from our time together! :)
