A Fort Monroe Graduation Session | Hampton Portrait Photographer
It's so important to celebrate big milestones and life accomplishments and April definitely has a reason to celebrate! This December she'll graduate from ODU with her Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering Technology, with a concentration in Structural Design (impressive, right?!)!
Her love of engineering design began almost 30 years ago when she started her career at the Newport News Shipbuilding. She put her Associates degree in computer aided drafting and design to good use as a Junior Designer. After her youngest daughter was in high school, April decided it was time for her to go back to school and pursue her Bachelors degree, with hopes that one day she would use what she'd learned to design and build bridges in the mission field.
Six years of hard work, lots of support and encouragement from her husband Brad and her girls, and plenty of hours spent pouring over those engineering textbooks has brought her to a place of sweet success! Soon April will walk across the graduation stage at ODU, cheered on by her family and friends, and she'll receive her long awaited diploma.
Well done and congratulations, April!! We're all so proud of you! :)
April you're gorgeous!!
Even though April didn't actually spend time studying in THIS library, we knew we had to get a photo in front of the Fort Monroe library anyway!
A favorite for sure! Beautiful!
Check out the size of that text book on top! Whew!
We also snuck in some photos with Brad and they're some of my favorites! Aren't these two the sweetest?!
Love this one!! Such joy!!
